We use machine learning where it saves taps and time—like meal photo analysis—and keep the rest of the experience fast, local-first where possible, and honest about limits.
Built to be accountable
Terms, privacy policies, and technical notes live next to the marketing. If we change behavior, we update the docs.
Room to experiment
Not every experiment becomes a company. Some become lessons. We would rather ship small, learn, and iterate than wait for perfect.

What is PatakoLabs?
An independent product lab building focused apps and services. FoodTracker is the first consumer-facing project showcased on this site.
Is FoodTracker free?
Manual logging, weight, fasting, charts, and barcode scanning are free and unlimited. AI photo analysis includes 10 free AI photo analyses total (up to 3 per UTC day on the free tier). Premium adds unlimited AI photo analysis while subscribed (pricing in the App Store).
Where is my data stored?
FoodTracker is designed with privacy in mind and supports iCloud sync where enabled. Read the FoodTracker privacy policy for details.
Do you take enterprise clients?
We are focused on consumer products right now. For partnerships that align with our roadmap, use the support email with a concrete proposal.
How often do you ship updates?
We ship iteratively—bug fixes as needed and feature updates as they clear our quality bar. Follow App Store release notes for FoodTracker.
